About Lisa

I spent most of my life on stage before stepping up to the mic.
(cuz microphones are 'cheating' in Opera)
Stage performances include the title roles in Tosca, Suor Angelica, Madama Butterfly and Fidelio as well as in leads in Turn of the Screw, La Bohème, Faust, Götterdämmerung.  I can tell you how terribly I am loved and/or betrayed in several languages.  I've spent over 15 years studying & specializing in Joycean music and Bloomsday celebrations as reader, singer, and director. My stage life also includes improv comedy and my improvised opera, La Donna Improvvisata which I performed at Fringe Festivals & comedy theaters across the country.

- Audiofile Magazine review of IF THESE WINGS COULD FLY

Flanagan’s steady narration,
especially her accents and inflections,
elevate the story wonderfully.
